Two Zimbabwean-natives-turned-Texans bring a mouthwatering Indian – African delicacy to life:  Savory pies!

Step away from the mundane, and prepare for an explosion of flavor:  Golden, flakey, crispy fresh-baked pastry filled with hearty comfort fillings like Steak & Mushroom, Lamb Curry, Chicken & Mushroom, and Vegetarian options – All cooked from scratch!

These “Phat Bastard” pies are unbelievably TASTY and HEARTY food!  The titillating spices, the amazing crusts – even the bottom of the pies are flaky and perfectly cooked and made with REAL BUTTER!

These pies are “Phat” with filling too, and plenty of protein of your choice; Beef, Lamb, or chicken.  The mouthwatering flavors are Indian and African, with that British colonial influence (hence Pie!).  2 Phat Bastard Savory pies are comfort food at a whole other level and baked to order

Old school friends from Zimbabwe, Nilesh and Rajen founded 2 Phat Bastard Pies in 2022. Nilesh’s family-inspired pie recipes and Rajen’s marketing and management skills combined to deliver these “Phat” treats to Houston.

Nilesh explains that “Phat” means packed to the brim with rich, hearty filling, filled with flavor, and served piping hot. They recommend enjoying these toothsome pies “hamburger style” for the ultimate “Phat Bastard” experience.
